My last day at Choa Chu Kang Polyclinic.
Saw quite a few of his bpgh friends there. Think they are sick or something.
Anyway thats not the point.
Really enjoyed myself today.
I am over that depressed mood already.
Was attached to the dressing room.
I can safely say i am not afraid of blood :)
Help the nurses there to open the dressing kit. Saw how they dress the open wound etc.
To think i was so afraid i would faint or vomit at the sight of blood that i could hardly sleep last night.
The five days in polyclinic has been an eye opener for me. Saw many stuffs that we did not learn in school. Made many new friends who had guided me esp the friends i made from ITE. They have worked in hospital before thus they know roughly what should been done. I dont know why, but i always feel so safe with them around. LOLS.
Wohhooo.....i shall reward myself for the hardwork by SHOPPING tmr (:

My handphone died today. Will send it for repair tmr.
For now, i have to use my oh so good china brand phone :(
Its back to the good old days hur.
I am so dependent on my handphone's camera that i could hardly live without it. But do i have a choice now?
Lord give me the strength please ~ i am so worried that i might break down again. i really dont like it when people look at us in a certain way. I really dont like it.
Aside from that, was attached to well women clinic and the referral room.
Gain quite abit from the well women clinic. Shall not go into details cause this stuffs are kinda confidential.
Maybe, i woke up from the wrong side of the bed today. GOODBYE.

Day 3
Attached to the diabetic retinopathy photograpy and diabetic foot screening room for the first half of the day.
Was taught on how they test the senses of the diabetic patient's leg. Than how they do the photograpy of the eye etc.
I have no appetite to eat.
For the second half of the day, its the care manager room.
Saw how the nurse communicate with the patient and gave advice on how to improve their diet.
My chinese like kanasai.
I need to learn how to speak dialects.
I have to learn simple malay.

*Yawn* There must be something real wrong with me. I dont know why i cant sleep peacefully without thinking about what happen in the polyclinic. ( as in the cute babies etc ) The noises, they will just start to ring in my head.

Life is all about being prim and pretty, till you seen the real world.
First day of my attachment at Choa Chu kang polyclinic.
The staff nurses were friendly, the bunch of friends were great.
I guess i will be able to learn loads there.
The second half of the day was spent at Bukit Batok Polyclinic where we went to this gallery to view the history/memories of nursing.
And by chance, Mediacorp was there to film some documentary. That guy filmed a few shots of us. Not very sure whether it would feature us on tv though, since we are not the main motive they are there for. They were there to film this retired nurse on how she help the poor etc etc, so to reminisce the past, the nursing history. It will be aired in August i think, in conjunction of Singapore's birthday.
I cant understand why some people are so weird as to stare at us when we are in our nurses uniform. Haven't they seen a nurse before?

I want that Vintage box bag. Saw it at far east, but it's price at $79 :(
Anyone knows where can i get such vintage finds at a cheaper price? Any vintage or thrift shops etc. I know ebay sells those stuffs but i want to touch and feel the item before buying it.
Maybe i should try salvation army.
Today dont feel like monday at all. I guess i have been playing and lazing around too much. Had not touch any of my holiday assigment yet. Cause all of them are group work, and i dont know why it seems like most of my classmates are uncontactable. Sometimes i do hate group work. Monday, will see me going for Student Council camp(there is a might to it). Wednesday off to genting. Will be back on saturday.
I love being packed with lotsa stuff to do. And its such a bore now cause i am stuck at home with nothing to do.
